It's been a while!

Blimey, things sure are busy! Found a slice of spare time to add some drawings and sketchbook entries from....,well, the last time I posted really! Right old mixture of play, kicking off with my lovely new Moleskine Watercolour mini book, YES!

Next up is the first of many Octopus I'm going to be drawing, I do love Octopus like! My goal is to draw an Octopus a week, Why?......why not!
I recently chucked away my old Apple G4, It took a great deal of courage to finally let go the olde faithful one! but it had to be done, I'm a DELL boy these days! Anyway, had this idea for an illustration when I got home. Work in progress, but you get the idea :)
Finally, some random heads from sketchbooks.

Hello
First up today, some ongoing work for Siemens. Illustrating subjects such as ''Connecting wind farms to the grid'', ''Bio Mass'' and saving energy designs for a set of large round stickers.

Some health and safety work for QLM Leisure illustrating the 'not very practical' pastime of daydreaming whilst on duty as pool attendant! http://www.qlmconsulting.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3&Itemid=2
More health and safety work, focusing on attitudes, conditioning and positive thinking. The images below are for my Dad's company: Setter and associates http://www.safesetters.co.uk/

General line work, ideas, sketches and drawings from the witch's hour! I love to draw stuff when the world is sleeping, I find this to be my most creative time.

Extra Extra.......read all about it!

Hi
I've decided that I could do with a new blog in which to house the constant supply of Doodles and characters that spill from my brain on a daily basis!
Cue...........THE DAILY SCRIBBLE! Characters will be named, described and have short stories behind their existence.
This exercise will surely help me feel good, safe in the knowledge that these drawings have a meaning!
FREE the contents of the sketchbook!
Share the LOVE!
Compulsive Scribbler :)

Some doodles over the weekend......
Finally pulled my finger out and contributed to Jonathan Edward's excellent Blog ''Draw Serge'' Take a look at the incredible work which has been submitted by Artists, Illustrators and Graphic Designers from all over the globe! http://drawserge.blogspot.com/

........well isn't it!?

Some recent drawings inspired by trip to Tate Liverpool to see the Picasso exhibition. Highly recommended by the way :)http://www.tate.org.uk/liverpool/exhibitions/Picasso/default.shtm Be quick if you want to see this though, as it finishes Aug bank holiday.
I love Picasso's work, I've never seen such a large collection of his drawings in one space.........stunning!

I've been having troubles with Adobe Illustrator of late, I've really missed it :( However, I am really enjoying scribbling again! Using felts, crayons and anything non digital really. These little critters will be used for some new large scale prints that I'm planning. I'm hoping to create a large roll up banner absolutely stuffed with them to display at DoodlePlanet.

Originally, started drawing Starwars Probe droids http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=probe+droid&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=tr1&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&prmd=iv&source=lnms&tbs=isch:1&ei=6IhqTPjlKZHf4gb-2JyeAQ&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&ved=0CBMQ_AU&biw=1882&bih=846 I freakin LOVE the probe droid.......creepy little fecker! Watch this space to see my scribbles of the Probe Droid family!
